Mommy SAID NO CASH GAMES or wire hangers... EVER!

So as history continues to repeat itself I am left feeling that I should be learning something. I have said repeatedly that cash is not my game (online anyway - live cash I am OK with my ability to smell when I am trouble)

I play a sit and go ... take first.... take the winnings... sit down at cash and loose it all to a paired board when I have the nut flush. No I was not rivered, I was nearly drawing dead from the flop. To the observer named Slurpee Dude who could barely stop laughing and wipe the tears out of his eyes long enough to comment on my terrible play, it was obvious - he in fact thought I must have the full house to make the call - ouch.

Below I described how I was going to play cash. It only marginally worked. Meaning it was a grinders kind of game and I was able to grind up in cash enough to take a big hit when I made an error. Just so that you reading this don't think I am a total donk who cant get away from a hand, here is the recap of the cash session where I lost the whole table:
1) AA - no slow play - on the turn the table goes crazy, I let it go - good fold - two sets out there
2) Turn the Q high flush (three spades on board two in hand) - I bet - when min raised and the third player calls, I let it go - would have been an easy call financially but I knew I was beat - good fold both the King high AND the Ace high flush were out there
3) KK - make it 4x pre flop - one caller - aggressive player, not the guy I want to tangle with at the table given a choice. He call - flop two spades all unders no straight, I bet roughly pot , he calls, turn black, I throw out another pot size bet - he calls. Third spade on the river, I bet he pushes all in, I let it go
4) Now I am down to less than half my max buy in at the table.
5) I have two spades with the A in my hand - flop has two spades, 33K, I stay in to the river hit on the river - he bets 8x blind, I raise to 16x he pushes. Now I have all of 20% of my buy in left - I admit it is a bad call, but I say to myself - how many times am I going to fold on the river to a big bet at this table? So I call and fade away.....

I don't understand (although I know there are differences of course) why I can seem to smell trouble at a sit and go and feel like I got continually hammered when I hit a good hand at cash.

My game is sick - very sick, my wife says I lack the instinct I need for a cash game, in a tourny my ability to calculate the odds, play stack size, position, and the player, have added value. That may be a bit a good technical ability for the game without the instinct would probably hit it on the head
